Great school! They care about their students and prepare them to pass Co State Boards. Even the owner and administrator are involved in getting to know students. The curriculum is thorough. Because of Covid it is mostly online and at home but you will get time to use the awesome lab. They give you an at home kit to practice with at home with an at home partner to be prepared. Even being online you get to know your class via workbook and skills sessions. I had a great experience!

I completed a CNA certification course at SDSNA in September 2020. In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the school adapted well to conduct the course virtually — preparing and sending at home skills lab kits and conducting lectures virtually. This actually worked in my favor, as I was able to start the class before fully relocating from the East Coast to Colorado. Despite not being able to offer clinicals during the pandemic, SDNSA staff and professors provided excellent career resources and helped me network with healthcare providers in the area. Thanks, in large part to those efforts, upon completion of the course, I was able to secure a job in a local hospital. While the types of skills and competencies required of a CNA may vary in different places of employment, I can safely say that SDSNA provided me a great foundation for my new career journey, and I felt extremely prepared to pass the state skills exam required to obtain my full CNA license. I'd recommend SDSNA very highly to anyone considering becoming a CNA!

SDSNA is an absolutely fantastic school! They have successfully managed to make online learning hands-on, engaging and extremely informative (this is an impressive feat!!). I feel as though my education was taken seriously and the online aspect didn't diminish the quality of education whatsoever. I honestly feel as though SDSNA has revolutionized online learning 🙂 I feel very prepared for state boards. If you want to become a CNA with a group of people who are passionate about person-centered care and are committed to your success, GO TO THIS SCHOOL!!

wow!!! I am truly at a loss for words. Everything about this program is amazing, from the professors to the staff. They all want you to be successful. This is an easy to follow program, and you will feel over and very prepared to work as a Certified nursing assistant anywhere you please. They open the door for many opportunities, as long as you advocate for yourself. Don't let the price drive you away, Ms. Whitney has an amazing heart, while running an efficient program. you give her and the program a chance, I promise you all you won't regret your decision!

This was such a great course! The whole thing was very easily structured and laid out. It took time but not so much that I felt overwhelmed. The online format worked well with the amount of FaceTime you still get. I moved my husband and 3 children up to Denver and within 2 weeks was registered in the course. Whitney and Karina are so responsive. I have no worried about my skills when the skills test comes back after COVID, we just have to get there now!

SDSNA is an excellent school. The instructors are kind and thorough with the content, the owner is an amazingly kind and helpful person, and my classmates were motivated and engaged throughout the entire course. Great experience!! I was new to online schooling and was a nervous wreck. William was my instructor and was very encouraging and supportive throughout the course. SNSNA was amazing! I really enjoyed being part of this program. The teachers are very understanding and very willing to help with the skills I was struggling in. Whitney is also amazing. She was always available to talk if I had any questions or concerns. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I LOVED SDSNA!!! It was an excellent program and I felt fully prepared to take my boards and work as a CNA. Whitney is amazing and truly wants you to be successful, as do the instructors. I truly looked forward to going to class every night and I made some amazing friends in the process. I would recommend this program to everyone. I am so glad I chose SDSNA.

I had the privilege of attending SDSNA right when the COVID-19 shutdown began. They stepped up and were able to quickly adjust to an online format. There were some small hiccups figuring things out, but they worked through it and listened to feedback. It is very clear they want to be able to keep producing CNA's for the healthcare industry, since they believe they are so important. If you had to get your CNA training online, I would highly recommend SDSNA!

They understand things happen and as long as you communicate with them, there isn't anything they won't work with you on. I was in their second ever online class due to COVID-19. SDSNA did a great job condensing a lot of material into five weeks! This school has made me feel confident to go into the work force. SDSNA really cares about you and your individual learning experience. They want you to succeed and be the best CNA you can be. Even though my class was online SDSNA made me feel very connected to my instructors and class mates!

Such an amazing group of Instructors!! They had to go online and didn't know what to expect along with everyone joining the class, including myself! My experience at SDSNA was nothing short of incredible. These staff members are not only experienced professionals, but they are great people. They are kind, uplifting, flexible, genuine, compassionate, funny, hardworking, and very, very knowledgeable teachers. I wish all of my university professors could have the qualities that are at SDSNA. If you are considering getting CNA certified, it would be a disservice to yourself to not look into SDSNA's program. I can not recommend them enough!

I cannot begin to describe how great my experience at SDSNA was! I was part of the first group to go through their new online program, and I was very impressed with how well thought out everything was. They even provided us with supplies to practice our skills at home, and I don't feel like my training suffered at all by doing it remotely. If you are looking for a program with super dedicated people in charge that will give you a great experience and leave you prepared to pass your boards, check out SDSNA!

Both the administration and teaching of the classes at SDSNA were top notch. I always felt that the organization was doing the most it could to fully prepare the student for the workforce as well as the proctored exam.

After deciding to make a career change I found myself interested in nursing. I sought out many schools that provided a CNA class to obtain my certification in Colorado. After talking with MANY different schools I enrolled with South Denver School of Nursing Arts (SDSNA). The choice was my best yet! The entire staff was so helpful and willing to go the extra mile to ensure my happiness and prepare me for the next steps in my life! I feel thoroughly prepared to start my job search as a CNA. This school not only taught me what I need to know to pass the boards but went the extra mile to ensure that I know how to take care of me before helping others. Taking the four week CNA class at South Denver School of Nursing Arts was one of the best decisions I’ve made! The family feel that the staff gives to each of the students is second to none. They truly care about teaching you how to become a great CNA! They support you from start to finish and hold you accountable for learning what they’re there to help you learn! The fundamental value they have of ensuring you take care of you so that you can take care of others is what sets them apart from other schools in the area! They truly help you become a better person which will enable you to be the best CNA! It’s all about caring for you and caring for others and Whitney and her staff are there to support each student who attends! If you’re on the fence about where to take this class go meet the staff at SDSNA you will not be disappointed and you’ll leave feeling better about this adventure than you did before you went!

This is a top notch school of nursing. If you need to get your CNA this is the place to go. The teachers are experts in their field and everyone really cares if you succeed or not. I was having problems learning and passing my skills. The owner came in to help me learn them on her own time. She also helped us sign up for the state boards. This process of signing up for your boards is crazy and she helped us navigate the process. She contacted me when she was worried about me passing but did not bug me to death. In the end this school prepared me well for the state boards. I passed on my first time. Thank you to everyone at SDSNA!

I got my CNA license from this school and I passed my state exam first shot. The owner Whitney is absolutely amazing and she will support you in every way to make sure you pass. The teachers are kind and knowledgeable and the facilities where clinicals are done is wonderful. Since I was fifteen years old I had always wanted to go to SDSNA. Four years later I just graduated the school and passed my state boards. Joy was my class instructor, and she was the BEST. She is very good at what she does, and she does not let you leave at the end of the day without knowing how to PROPERLY do your skills. The owner Whitney is also the most positive and motivating person you will ever meet. She believes in you, and she teaches you how to believe in yourself. All around an awesome school that will really grow on you. You will be thankful you learned how to be the best CNA you can be through SDSNA when you pass your state boards, and become a part of the heartbeat in healthcare. Highly recommend!

Whitney and William at SDSNA have the student's best interest at heart throughout the entire CNA process. They provide all of the tools and information needed to earn your CNA and pass the state board exam the first time. The 4 week course allows you to get your CNA much quicker than a lot of other programs in Colorado. SDSNA was a great value and an all around wonderful experience! I will forever be grateful for my time there.

When I was taking this class I was only seventeen years old and I walked into the school scared out of my mind, but I left with an experience I will never forget. The staff here is so kind and takes such good care of their students. They prepare you so well for the exam and the clinical experience was amazing. I could not have found a better school to learn, study, and become proficient with the skills for the CNA program.The teacher I had was superb. She had first hand knowledge having worked in the hospital and skilled long term care settings. She shared with us in the classroom instruction and more so in the skills lab. We were taught the correct procedures for the skills we would be required to perform as a CNA. We were thoroughly prepared to pass the school's written and skills test. Then it was on to the final step to becoming certified with the state boards. I was very confident with my classroom and skills before taking the state tests and was elated when passing. I am very thankful for the school. The enthusiasm from Whitney and the solid class time and skills lab time with Joy helped me become a CNA.Thank you. Thank you. I had a great experience at SDSNA! They are so amazing and helpful. Whitney is so wonderful and has so much useful information that she will share with you as a student. You will be taught everything that you need to know to pass your test, and have fun doing it. William made learning fun and enjoyable. He is so knowledgeable and great! The two of them make a great team and they made the whole process so easy. Now that I have obtained my certification and am in the process of interviewing for jobs, Whitney is still going above and beyond to provide support and feedback to help me. Amazing! I had a great experience at South Denver School of Nursing Arts. All the staff and the instructors were very helpful and serious about the students' success. Whitney the owner was very kind and prompt in communication. She really created a welcoming experience for everybody who came through the door. I loved my instructors Paula and Sherri. They were nice and focused on making sure that all of us were well-equipped with the skills and techniques to be a great CNA. My classmates were very sweet and lovely. We got along very well with one another and really helped each other succeed. I felt well-equipped with the knowledge and training prior to the beginning of my clinical rotation, thanks to their well-organized and comprehendible teaching curriculum. The school has an adequate resources and equipments to help students practice their skills for clinical preparation. Our class of 2017 got 100% pass rate. Overall, I really enjoyed the time at SDSNA. If I were to pick again for the school to enroll for my CNA certificate, I would have had no hesitation to choose this school again. Thank you SDSNA !

Whitney and William are some of the most thoughtful people I have ever met. Even after completing the program and passing my boards, Whitney continues to communicate with me about job fairs and tips on being successful on my job hunt. Her communication is amazing and if there's any way she can ever do something to benefit her students, she does it without any hesitation.William is brutally honest and it is so helpful when learning steps that need to be done very PRECISELY. Im very passionate about this school because my wife just passed her CNA state exam on her first try. We are both very excited and grateful for the amazing owner and staff at this program. My wife received constant support and encouragement during her entire program even starting day 1 of orientation. She came home daily with excitement in her eyes and I believe alot of that had to do with this facilty being so passionate about what they do. SDSNA was by far the best choice I made for getting my CNA license. I was on the track to get into nursing school, but didn't want to enroll in a semester-long course to get started working as a CNA, nor did I want to select a CNA school with a poor reputation and have to repeat this part of my journey into nursing. I researched several schools and felt like there was no second option as the other schools were not very responsive and didn't feel professional. I started to feel like "You get what you pay for" and I didn't feel like I had time to select a school that might not be exactly what I needed to be successful.The owner and evening instructor were top notch, available and responsive and made the whole process, enrollment through taking the state exam, very seamless and simple during a time when I was incredibly busy, juggling a million things in my personal life. I needed a school that had a solid reputation and could get me into the workforce ASAP.One really important thing for me was the high pass rates for the school. The pass rate for our class was 100% on the first try for everyone, not all schools have that bragging right.Now that I am a RN, I realize how valuable my education at SDSNA really was compared to what else is available to someone in my shoes. I absolutely credit this school as the springboard to my career as a nurse.You cannot go wrong with choosing SDSNA as your first step into the world of healthcare if you want to become a CNA. It was one of the best decisions I made!

I attended here right after graduating high school. It honestly was one of the best decisions I’ve done. They are very supportive and very determine making you successful! They will not give up on you as long as you do your part. There’s nothing but positivity everywhere. From being a shy student they push you beyond what you thought you couldn’t do and you gain confidence. Highly suggest 🙂

Only good things to write about SDSNA!!! The class was informative and effective. I got a job within two months after passing the boards and could not be happier. My teacher was amazing and did all she could to make sure our whole class passed. The owner is very helpful and will help with resumes and getting a CNA job! Best school out there!

The whole staff encourages a love for the field and they want to see you to succeed. The equipment is perfect for hands-on learning and you are given many tools to help master every skill. It is a great program for many different paths of life. You are learning so much with very little stress.My experience was absolutely incredible and I was able to begin my future as a nurse on the right foot. I have always known that I wanted to be in the medical field; although, I had been missing personal confidence my entire life. I found this gem of a school by accident and it was the biggest blessing ever! I was eager to begin my CNA journey and when I found out this school enrolls students every four weeks, I realized my journey could start sooner than I had anticipated. In the four weeks that I’ve spent in class and learning from Joy, I can confidently say I feel fully prepared for my future as a CNA and everything in between. Joy was such an amazing instructor and she gave me the skills and the confidence I need to succeed in this field. I would recommend this class to anyone looking to become a CNA because it was life changing. Such a wonderful experience.

I loved my attending this program. The owner, Whitney, does all she can to accommodate the needs of all students. I really think this program is what helped me to excel as a CNA. I am now in nursing school and find myself using the things I learned here every day. I love how passionate the whole staff is about what they do. They are all so knowledgeable and will answer any question you possibly have. The program went by fast and I loved how we had time after finishing the program and before the test to come in and practice. I took the evening class in March. Our class was one of the smaller classes and we had a great group. William is a wonderful teacher, very versed in teaching this class, and very detailed on the procedures. Whitney the owner is super sweet and she too is very knowledgeable and wants the students to be successful. My baby ended up being hospitalized the last week of school and they worked with me to make sure everything I needed was worked through and to give me less stress. SDSNA is an amazing school and the clinical site was a great location where we got a lot of hands on experience. If you want to do a quick CNA course and GET the real knowledge you need this school is it!! Don’t hesitate. I passed my State test with flying colors on the first try.
